VERY SAD: Rapper Xzibit's newborn son died 3.30am this morning!

Rapper XZIBIT is mourning the death of his newborn tot XAVIER, who died on Monday (26May08).The host of TV motor makeover show Pimp My Ride - real name Alvin Nathaniel Joiner - was delighted following his son's premature birth on 15 May (08). But in a moving post on his MySpace.com blog, Joiner writes about how his elation turned to grief after learning his son's lungs were damaged. He writes, "Well, this week was extremely difficult for him, because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. "Xavier passed away this morning and I must tell you this, it is unnatural for a parent to bury a child."

And despite his grief, Joiner told fans, "Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them. "Don't take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. "You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is nothing compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and I'm not one to question God's perfect plan."

MORE PROBLEMS: AMY Winehouse's father-in-law paralyzed from bike CRASH!

"Her husband she calls Bl-ike's dad is paralyzed!" Troubled star AMY WINEHOUSE is facing more heartache after her father-in-law was seriously injured in a bicycle crash. The singer, 24, and her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil are both said to be "deeply shocked and upset" after hearing of the accident. Lance Fielder, 67, was racing his bicycle during circuit training near his home in Leicestershire, England, when he crashed his bike and flew over its handlebars. He then spent three hours lying unnoticed in a ditch, according to British reports.

After he was eventually spotted, Fielder was air-lifted to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, England, where he underwent emergency surgery on for a spinal injury. Medics fear he may be paralysed. Fielder's wife Jane, a nurse, says, "At the moment, he's paralysed but it is too early to say if he will be permanently paralysed. I was really worried. After calling the police I went out looking for him. By sheer fluke a lady in a tractor had seen his bicycle and spotted him lying in a ditch." Fielder-Civil is currently behind bars in London's Pentonville Prison after pleading not guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice after allegedly attempting to fix the outcome of a previous trial for grievous bodily harm. He will stand trial for the latest charges in June 2008. We wish this entire family well in all their woes!

MOMMA'S Love: R&B Singer Chaka Khan stands by son after he kills his friend with assault rifle!

CHAKA KHAN is standing by her son DAMIEN as he recovers in a rehab centre after allegedly killing his friend by accident, insisting he will one day be able to "live a good life". In what Khan believes was a tragic accident, her son Damien Holland shot dead Christopher Bailey, 17, with an assault rifle during a 2004 argument in the singer's Los Angeles home. Khan testified daily during the ensuing 2006 trial in support of her son, who was eventually acquitted. And the R&B star insists she is continuing to support him as he undergoes psychological treatment at a U.S. facility.

She says, "With God's grace and God's help, at the trial the truth came out. But for Damien, there's a lot of pain and guilt, and he's been coping with that for the last couple of years. "Right now, he's in rehab and getting all the spiritual and psychological help he will need. He's getting his tool belt full as I did, so that he can live a good and purposeful life of service and come out of that, and be able to live. Because it's tough when you feel responsible for the life of somebody else."

R.I.P to Selena Quintanilla-Perez and Happy 37th Birthday!

Selena Quintanilla-Pérez (April 16, 1971 – March 31, 1995), best known as Selena, was a Mexican American singer who has been called "the queen of Tejano music". The youngest child of a Mexican-American couple, Selena released her first album at the age of twelve. She won Female Vocalist of the Year at the 1987 Tejano Music Awards and landed a recording contract with EMI a few years later. Selena attained further notability in North America after she was murdered at the age of 23 by Yolanda Saldívar, the president of her fan club. On April 12, 1995, two weeks after her death, George W. Bush, then the governor of Texas, declared her birthday "Selena Day" in Texas. Warner Brothers made a film based on her life starring Jennifer Lopez in 1997. As of June 2006, Selena was commemorated with a museum and a bronze life-sized statue (Mirador de la Flor in Corpus Christi, Texas), which are visited by hundreds of fans each week.

In early 1995, the Quintanillas discovered that Yolanda Saldívar, the president of Selena's fan club and the manager of her boutiques, was stealing money from the boutiques and decided to fire her. Soon after the fallout, Selena agreed to meet Saldívar in a Days Inn hotel in Corpus Christi on the morning of March 31, 1995 to retrieve paperwork for tax purposes. At the hotel, Selena demanded the missing financial papers. Saldívar delayed the handover by claiming she had been raped in Mexico.The singer drove Saldívar to a local hospital where doctors found no evidence of rape. Saldívar returned to the motel where Selena again demanded the missing financial papers.

An argument ensued and Saldívar drew a gun from her purse, pointing it first at her own head and then at Selena. As the singer turned and left the room, Saldívar shot her once in the back. Selena fled to the manager's office in the lobby for help, with Saldívar chasing her, calling her a "bitch." Before collapsing to the floor, Selena named Saldívar as her assailant and gave the room number where she had been shot. After an ambulance and the police arrived on the scene, Selena was transported to a local hospital. She died there from loss of blood at 1:05 p.m., at the age of 23.

Biggie traveled to California in March 1997 to promote his upcoming album and record a music video for its lead single, "Hypnotize". Life After Death was scheduled for release on March 25, 1997. On March 8, 1997, he presented an award to Toni Braxton at the 11th Annual Soul Train Music Awards in Los Angeles and was booed by some of the audience. After the ceremony, Biggie attended an after party hosted by Vibe magazine and Qwest Records at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.Other guests included Faith Evans, Sean "Puffy" Combs and members of the Bloods and Crips gangs.

On March 9, 1997, at around 12:30 a.m., Biggie left with his entourage in two GMC Suburbans to return to his hotel after an announcement was made that the party would finish early. Biggie traveled in the front passenger seat alongside his associates, Damion "D-Rock" Butler, Junior M.A.F.I.A. member Lil' Cease and driver, Gregory "G-Money" Young. Combs traveled in the other vehicle with three bodyguards. The two trucks were trailed by a Chevrolet Blazer carrying Bad Boy's director of security.

By 12:45 a.m. the streets were crowded with people leaving the event. Biggie's truck stopped at a red light 50 yards (46 m) from the museum. While waiting for the light to change, a white Toyota Land Cruiser made a U-turn and cut in-between Biggie's vehicle and the Chevrolet Blazer behind. Simultaneously, a black Chevrolet Impala pulled up alongside Biggie's truck. The driver of the Impala (an African-American male neatly dressed in a blue suit and bow tie) rolled down his window, drew a 9 mm blue-steel pistol and fired numerous rounds into the GMC Suburban; four bullets hit Biggie in the chest. Biggie was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by his entourage but was pronounced dead at 1.15am.

It's a day I Kemi Olunloyo Joshua will never forget. I was a Pharmacist at work in a hospital nightshift at 5am, 2am in Cali. I just became a part time talk show host and I cried on the radio. Imagine if Big was here with us in today's YouTube, MySpace, collabos, etc. It would have been so much fun but he's in a better place now. REST IN PEACE BIG POPPA!

The face of DEATH in the face of a celebrity's help: Rihanna's bone marrow search for a NY stranger SUCCESSFUL!

A leukemia patient in dire need of a bone marrow transplant reportedly has found a donor after Grammy-winning singer Rihanna publicized her case. Rihanna is the in-star and she can also get more albums sold too. I really commend her humanitarian work but is it all the time a celebrity helps in getting a bone marrow donor for a desperate patient?

A certain friend of mine died in the quest for looking for the right marrow for years, yet her brother was the celebrity who was championing her cause! The venues.......imagine ordinary venues would not even let him use their spot to get blacks and other minorities to come out and donate blood. Other blacks prevented him from using their spot. Now Rihanna helps a white woman get a donor in less than 2 weeks. Does that send a race message on how we blacks sometimes don't focus on the right things?

Nelly was disrespectful to women in his tip drill video.......yadadadayada, so they didn't want him on their campus! To you ladies of Spelman College in Atlanta, Jackie was even one of you. She even attended there as a current student before her illness got worse. I was in the process of securing a huge Atlanta megachurch to volunteer their premises for a donation day when Jackie passed away. A city full of blacks wasted after this family searched forever for a donor! My friend Jackie is Jackie Donahue, sister to Rapper Nelly........R.I.P
