MORE PROBLEMS: AMY Winehouse's father-in-law paralyzed from bike CRASH!

"Her husband she calls Bl-ike's dad is paralyzed!" Troubled star AMY WINEHOUSE is facing more heartache after her father-in-law was seriously injured in a bicycle crash. The singer, 24, and her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil are both said to be "deeply shocked and upset" after hearing of the accident. Lance Fielder, 67, was racing his bicycle during circuit training near his home in Leicestershire, England, when he crashed his bike and flew over its handlebars. He then spent three hours lying unnoticed in a ditch, according to British reports.

After he was eventually spotted, Fielder was air-lifted to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, England, where he underwent emergency surgery on for a spinal injury. Medics fear he may be paralysed. Fielder's wife Jane, a nurse, says, "At the moment, he's paralysed but it is too early to say if he will be permanently paralysed. I was really worried. After calling the police I went out looking for him. By sheer fluke a lady in a tractor had seen his bicycle and spotted him lying in a ditch." Fielder-Civil is currently behind bars in London's Pentonville Prison after pleading not guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice after allegedly attempting to fix the outcome of a previous trial for grievous bodily harm. He will stand trial for the latest charges in June 2008. We wish this entire family well in all their woes!

Usher reportedly loses his father suddenly!

Though he broke up with his mom at a very young age, he had struggled most of his life with crack cocaine. Usher Raymond III died in an Atlanta hospital on Friday exclusively reports Mediatakeout. His famous son, R&B Artist Usher Raymond IV, mother Jonetta Patton, wife Tameka were all by his side we hear. No word as of press time yet on his website.

We now hear that Kanye West is wracked with guilt over the death of his mother, believing the cosmetic surgery he paid for killed her. A recent inquest confirmed the tummy tuck and liposuction Donda West underwent the day before she died in November (07) didn’t contribute to her passing. She died from a "pre-existing coronary artery disease".

A local Houston rapper Michael Francis of Fam Tide Records reportedly died from an accidental gunshot wound to the head Friday afternoon (January 2). What is happening over there in Houston. First Big Moe, then Pimp C, then O.G and now this?

In case you're reading from outta town, 2007 was Toronto's "year of the assassin." according to the Dec 30th issue of the Toronto Sun. #75 was Ryan Hyde, a teen that was heavily into crime causing the death of a 68 YEAR OLD MAN IN 2006, kicking the hell out of his head, Ryan himself was gunned down at 9.30am November 23rd 2007 by Kennado Walker while he was in his car with a friend munching breakfast. #76, Kennado Walker was gunned down 5.30pm in a parking garage while in his car on the cell phone (same way) the SAME DAY. Another Houston Rapper O.G dead at 37!

Houston rap pioneer, Eric "O.G. Style" Woods, passed on late Thursday night (January 3) from a sudden brain aneurysm, according to XXL. According to the mag's report, the rapper was hospitalized on Wednesday night (January 2). While hospitalized, his began to hemorrhage, and then he later slipped into a coma. He was 37.

A good friend of mine Christopher Martin, a.k.a. Play of Kid-N-Play and the House Party franchise, was seriously injured in a car crash this Saturday. His car was hit by a fatally wounded driver who was fleeing the police. The fugitive was shot by officers following a home invasion with two other suspects. He is said to be in stable condition. I called him and left a get well message for him. I look at that business card daily and pray for him. Chris owns his own production company, Carolina Pinnacle Studios and produces movies.
