VIDEO OF THE MOMENT: Point Blank (Feat. Mark Mckay) - God Only Knows [Underground]

Point Blank's debut album, Point Blank is noted in an article by Jesse Plunkett currently featured on Allhiphop.com. With a groundbreaking first single "Born and Raised in the Ghetto" giving way to the group's first Much Music Video Award nomination in 2007; in addition to the amount of attention the group has garnered to date, it's no surprise the group is mentioned in an article titled: "Canadian Invasion: Coming to America". The article highlights the public anticipation for the self-tilted album, since the release of their first single last year: THE ALBUM IS ALMOST HERE IN AUGUST!!!!

CAKETIME: Happy 40th Birthday PMD (Our darling Parrish of EPMD!)

Parrish J. Smith (born May 13, 1968), better known as PMD (Parrish Makes Dollars), is an east coast rapper from Smithtown, Long Island. PMD, who attended Brentwood High School, currently resides in East Islip. He is a member of the rap group, EPMD with Erick Sermon. He has released three solo albums, 1994's Shade Business, 1996's Business Is Business and 2003's The Awakening. Also, in 2002, he released an album with Japanese hip hop luminary DJ Honda.

Our Darling Parrish and Erick are going to be giving Hiphossip an exclusive interview in the next few weeks. You know about that big 20th anniversary concert that was completely SOLD OUT! My 16 year old son Oyin is their biggest fan and he demands to be on a three way line during the interview. Oyin was not even born when they were rapping but has all their CD's! I am not talking about downloading etc, he went out and bought them all in the ol skool section! Parrish, Canada LOVES YOU!

Caketime: Happy Birthday to Lloyd Banks of G-Unit!

Christopher Charles Lloyd (born April 30, 1982), better known by his stage name, Lloyd Banks, is an American rapper and member of the rap group G-Unit. Lloyd Banks grew up around the corner from 50 Cent and Tony Yayo so they would usually rap together; they starred in many city shows. He has the lowest profile of the G-Unit clan and did have his own controversy with the exit of The Game from G-Unit, reports claiming that they did not get along! Happy birthday Mr Banks!
