RIDICULOUS: AMY'S HUBBY DUE FOR EARLY JAIL RELEASE BUT CAN'T LIVE WITH HER!

LATEST: AMY WINEHOUSE's husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has started proceedings to leave jail and faces a strict curfew, according to reports. Fielder-Civil is currently serving a 27-month sentence at Highpoint prison in Suffolk, England for causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and perverting the course of justice.

He has decided to accept an early release deal which will see him living with his mother in Nottinghamshire, England - something he had earlier declined to do. Under the agreement, he will wear an electronic tag and be under a strict 7pm curfew - but will make daily round trips to visit Winehouse in London, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.

A source tells the publication, "Amy is obviously chuffed. But more surprisingly, even her family and friends are pleased. Because Blake will have to lead the disciplined life to keep in line with his conditions of release they are hoping it will rub off on her too. "He has to be back at his mum's every evening - and he's so jealous and controlling he won't want her up to no good without him."

Former IRON MAIDEN STAR BLAZE BAYLEY's WIFE IN A COMA!

Former IRON MAIDEN star BLAZE BAYLEY's wife is critically ill in hospital after suffering a stroke. The rocker's wife Debbie was admitted to hospital in England in July (08) after a brain haemorrhage. She has since been in a coma, but Bayley has confirmed his wife has now been re-admitted to an intensive care ward.

A message on his website reads, "Debbie suffered a stroke in hospital. This meant that she has been rushed back into intensive care and is once again critically ill. "He, Debbie's family and friends, and the whole band as well, very much appreciate all of the support that has been sent, especially the huge number of emails and messages."

ESTEFAN INTRODUCES FANS TO HER TALENTED TEEN.

GLORIA ESTEFAN is giving her "timid" teenage daughter EMILY a taste of concert life by including the 13-year-old in her band as she tours Europe. The new Estefanita played the drums and the electric guitar at her mother's concert in Spain. Emily made a quiet entrance onstage in Marbella, Spain last week, playing drums and guitar on select tracks. But a crowd of almost 2,500 cheered for the youngster when her proud mum introduced her to fans as "la nueva Estefanita". The teenager is expected to be part of Estefan's upcoming shows in Spain, Holland, Italy, Ireland and England.

WINEHOUSE SLAMMED BY MOTHER-IN-LAW!

AMY WINEHOUSE's mother-in-law has hit out at the troubled singer after she was allegedly caught on video taking cocaine - calling on police to arrest her. Georgette Civil - whose jailed son Blake Fielder-Civil married Winehouse last year (07) - reacted with anger after being shown a 36-second clip of the star appearing to snort the drug in a packed London pub last month (Jul08). She tells Newsoftheworld.co.uk, "I'm shocked by the video. When I look at Amy I think: 'For Christ's sake, just get a grip of yourself.' "Enough is enough. As the police know Amy is a drug addict - and she has now been caught twice on film taking illegal drugs - they should arrest her and put her behind bars.

"Rehab clinics are a waste of money, unless you want them to work. Amy doesn't want to give up drugs, so she's got to learn the hard way in prison. "Police have to act. She is making a mockery of the law. It has got to stop. The price Amy has got to pay is losing her freedom." Winehouse is reportedly undergoing rehab treatment in a facility close to where Fielder-Civil is serving a prison sentence for actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

But Civil wants to ban her from visiting him, fearing she will hamper his own efforts to kick drugs: "Since Blake has been in prison Amy has just deteriorated more and more while he has managed to get himself clean inside. “She has deteriorated to such an extent that I know even Blake can't save her now. Now I don't want Amy to visit my son. He is doing really, really well without her."

MADONNA & RITCHIE'S PUB TO BE INVESTIGATED.

The London pub part-owned by MADONNA and GUY RITCHIE is facing investigation by trading standards officials amid allegations of unfair pricing strategies. The Hollywood couple bought shares worth $5 million (£2.5 million) in The Punchbowl - just around the corner from their west London home - in February (08). But the landlord has been accused of having two different pricelists for drinks - one for locals and another for tourists. One complainant, Brian Richardson, claimed the barman had admitted to having separate tariffs when he protested about the price of his pint of beer.

Richardson claims he was charged $7.80 (£3.90) for one beer, when he had previously paid $7.00 (£3.50). He says, "On Monday I paid £3.50 for a pint, now all of a sudden it's £3.90. I was shocked. I complained to staff. They have got two prices - regulars prices and non-regulars prices. "There is no price list on the wall. I don't mind paying more but it is completely arbitrary. It is not the money, it is the price hike. It is outrageous." The Punchbowl is now facing an official investigation by Westminster council.

Sue Jones, head of trading standards at the local council, says, "In light of these allegations we will be seeking to make contact with the landlord. This may well constitute unfair trading procedures and this is something the council would look into." However, the pub's assistant manager, Henry Heaton, has denied the price fixing accusations: "That should not be the case and it won't be the case. As far as I'm aware, there is no change (in price). There is no difference... Everyone should be paying the same." The Ritchies are believed to have a 20 per cent stake in The Punchbowl, which counts Hollywood stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Barbra Streisand among its regulars.

THE JACKSONS TO RECEIVE A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

The Jacksons are set to reunite to receive an award next month. The brothers - Tito, Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine, Michael and Randy - will be honoured with a lifetime achievement prize at BMI's Urban Awards in Los Angeles on September 4. A BMI spokeswoman said all the Jackson brothers except Michael have so far confirmed they will attend the ceremony at Beverly Hills' Wilshire Theatre. Although the group will take to the stage to together to collect their BMI Icon award, they will not be performing. Instead, a star-studded collection of music acts will pay tribute to the band with a medley of the brothers' greatest hits.

Previous winners of the prestigious prize include The Bee Gees, James Brown, Little Richard and Chuck Berry. The Jackson Five, who first formed in 1966, had a string of hits in the '70s, including 'I Want You Back' and 'ABC'. They later became The Jacksons after younger brother Randy joined. Their last tour was in 1984. Last year, Jermaine revealed the brothers had been discussing a reunion, saying: "It could be sometime in 2008. Michael will be involved. We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public. "Michael has to be involved. He is a Jackson. He was at the meetings. Michael will be involved."

DIANA ROSS' DAUGHTER IN CAR CRASH!

The daughter of Motown legend DIANA ROSS has been hospitalised in California after she was involved in a car accident. Chudney Ross, (in pink dress) the singer's daughter with Robert Silberstein, was reportedly pulling out of a parking lot in Malibu when her Land Rover collided with an oncoming car, reports website TMZ.com. Ross, 33, and her passenger were taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure. Two people in the other vehicle also sought medical attention for neck and back injuries.Tracee Ross, Chudney's sister, was later seen arriving at the hospital.

LOST CREDIBILITY: CICCONE: 'I WANTED TO SEE MADONNA SQUIRM'

MADONNA's estranged brother CHRISTOPHER CICCONE released his tell-all book about life with the superstar because he wanted to "watch her squirm". Ciccone published the controversial tome, Life With My Sister Madonna, earlier this month (Jul08) and he recently admitted that his revelations in the book left his famous older sister "very upset". But the 47-year-old insists the book was a watered down version of what he wanted to publish - because his lawyers forced him to omit much of the more controversial content.

He tells MSNBC.com, "There are plenty of things I left out of the book. And things that the lawyers and editors took out." But Ciccone still enjoyed Madonna's reaction to the controversy. He adds, "I will admit to a guilty pleasure in watching her squirm. (Releasing the book was like a) giant f**king orgasm. Therapy I already had; this was pure sex."

PETE WENTZ'S BABY WITH WIFE ASHLEE SIMPSON DUE ON HALLOWEEN!

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are reportedly set to have a Halloween baby. The couple - who are expecting their first child together later this year - were said to be thrilled when they found out they were expecting a daughter due on October 31. A source told America's Star magazine: "Ashlee and Pete are on cloud nine. The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine's Day (14.02.08) while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of October 31." Fall Out Boy rocker Pete - who loves the spooky holiday - is reportedly especially pleased he will welcome his new baby into the world on the scary day.

The source added: "When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For a rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!" It was recently reported Ashlee, 23, has embarked on a strict exercise regime to avoid gaining too much weight during the pregnancy. A source said: "She's still clinging to the hope that she can limit her total weight gain to no more than 30 to 35lbs. So she is doing low-impact exercises, such as riding the stationary bike and Pilates."

NOW AMY WINEHOUSE'S DAD HAS FALLEN ILL!!

AMY WINEHOUSE's father MITCH has been struck down by a mystery illness and is facing an agonising wait to be diagnosed. He was taken ill last week (Beg07Jul08) after taking time out from helping his troubled daughter deal with her own issues and visited a doctor on Thursday (10Jul08) to find out the cause of his ill health. The stress of his daughter's wayward lifestyle has caused him to suffer panic attacks, leading him to collapse at his London home last week according to U.K. tabloid reports. Winehouse, who spoke out about his daughter's problems to U.K.'s Sky news at the weekend (12Jul08), tells British newspaper The Sun, "I'm awaiting the results of tests.

I'm going away for a few days and we will see what happens after that." But a friend of the singer's father says, "Mitch isn't well. He has been taking a lot on and has been dedicating himself to trying to improve Amy's health. But his own health has suffered as a result. "He has been having stress-related panic attacks and collapsed at home last week. The doctor did some tests and told him he needed to take time out or he was seriously risking his own well-being. Amy is devastated and told him to get away and relax. "She told him not to worry about her - but that is easier said than done." Mitch has been at his daughter's side following a string of ill health, which he believes stems from her drug abuse. Most recently, the star was hospitalised in June (08) and was diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema.

WINEHOUSE'S DAD: 'AMY WILL DIE A SLOW & PAINFUL DEATH'

AMY WINEHOUSE's father MITCH has issued a stark warning to his troubled daughter - urging her to give up drugs or face a "long, slow, painful death". The Back to Black hitmaker has endured a long battle with her addictions – including a stint in rehab earlier this year (08).

She has since suffered a string of health problems including a bout of infectious skin condition impetigo. Most recently, the singer was hospitalised in June (08) after collapsing at her home and was subsequently diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema. Now her dad, Mitch Winehouse, has said beehive-wearing Amy must give up her party lifestyle once and for all. He says, "She will die. But it won't be from a drugs overdose. She will die from emphysema. That will be the most likely scenario if she doesn't check her behaviour. We are talking about a long, slow, painful death - gasping for air. I would like all the people who would give her illegal substances to think about that."

Meanwhile Mitch will force Amy's husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL to enter rehab when he is released from prison - in a bid to save his daughter from a life of drugs. Fielder-Civil is currently awaiting sentence in London's Pentonville Prison after pleading guilty to perverting the course of justice and causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) in relation to an attack on pub landlord James King in June 2006. The 25-year-old could walk free as early as 21 July (08) following his sentencing.

And Mitch is determined to make sure that Fielder-Civil is drug-free after his time behind bars, because he wants to make sure his singer daughter isn't tempted back to a life of wild partying. He says, "If he comes out, they can't carry on as they have. I don't think he's been clean in prison. He's a fit young man - he could carry on the rest of his life like that - but Amy can't. If he comes out he will go straight into rehab."
