The bosses of a DVD porn company are claiming victory in their battle over the authenticity of a JIMI HENDRIX sex romp, claiming the rock legend's estate has failed to prove the star of the raunchy footage isn't the late guitar great. Vivid Entertainment released Jimi Hendrix: The Sex Tape on DVD in May (08) and company bosses were immediately challenged over the authenticity of the footage. Hirsch says, "In early May we made a good faith offer through our attorneys to pay $100,000 to Experience Hendrix if it could offer proof within 60 days that our tape was not authentic. "We always knew it was real and were confident that the Hendrix heirs would be unable to substantiate their claims." Hirsch's claims have been backed by Hendrix's former road manager Neville Chesters and groupie icon Cynthia (Plaster Caster) Albritton, who held Hendrix's penis in her hands while she made a plaster cast of it.

PALESTINIANS URGE SNOOP DOGG TO BOYCOTT ISRAEL!

Rap superstar SNOOP DOGG has been urged by Palestinian campaigners to cancel an upcoming concert in Israel and join them in "boycotting" the Jewish state. The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker is scheduled to perform in the country on 18 September (08) - but activists belonging to the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) is calling on Snoop Dogg to follow their example. They have expressed their disappointment at the hip-hop star's tour plans, especially when tensions between Palestine and Israel are so high, according to AllHipHop.com.

The PACBI has released a statement saying: "The Palestinian arts community was deeply saddened and surprised by the news of your upcoming performance in Israel on September 18 in Ramat Gan. "We strongly urge you to cancel your plans to perform in Israel until the time comes when Israel ends its illegal occupation of Palestinian and Arab territories and respects the relevant precepts of international law concerning Palestinian rights to freedom, self-determination and equality.

"How can an artist whose name is prominently associated with this form of popular and freedom-based musical expression, rap, be apathetic to the monstrosity of Israel's current war crimes in Gaza, its Apartheid Wall, declared illegal by the International Court of Justice at the Hague, or its continued violation of fundamental Palestinian rights? Hip-hop mogul DAMON DASH is convinced the sale of Death Row Records won't bring an end to rap heavyweight MARION `SUGE' KNIGHT's empire. Knight was ordered to sell the label after he filed for bankruptcy; it was snapped up last month (Jun08) at auction for $25 million by independent label Global Music Group. Many feared for the future of the label's back catalogue, which includes the recordings of stars including the late Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

But Dash insists the Death Row name will live on. He tells WENN, "(They will) make some money with it! It's the very beginning. It's gonna get even bigger and better."

Lily Allen has announced she may quit music. Last month, Lily was in Los Angeles working on the album with producer Greg Kurstin, who produced two tracks on 'Alright, Still'. She revealed possible song titles include 'Everyone's at it' and 'He Wasn't There'. Kanye West has apologised for his recent performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in America. The 'Stronger' singer was booed by fans at the event after appearing on stage one-and-a-half hours late, but has blamed his tardy arrival on festival bosses. In the latest entry on his blog, Kanye wrote: "I'm sorry to everyone that I didn't have the ability to give the performance I wanted to." Kanye claims the band performing before him, Pearl Jam, finished their set one hour late, meaning his team did not have enough time to set up the stage before he was due to perform. The singer is well known for his dramatic pyrotechnic show, and blasted Bonnaroo organisers for trying to make him perform in daylight.

He wrote: "We were obviously dealing with f***ing idiots who didn't really have the capacity to really put on this show properly. They tried to give me a time slot where it was still light outside? I have a f***ing light show dumba*s." Although he was willing to apologise, Kanye denies he did not put much effort into his performance. He wrote: "Sometimes I go two, three days without sleep working on my performance. I have to ice my knees after every show and they hurt when I walk through the airport. Having an expensive stage cuts my payday in half. Call me what you want but never say I didn't give it my all!"
