Some rich guy pays USHER $100,000 to sing Happy Birthday to his girl!

Web mogul Andrew Michael purchased a $100,000 performance from Grammy-winning crooner Usher as a birthday present to his girlfriend Katy Teague, 26. Andrew, who owns the website company Fasthosts, is worth $92 million. Andrew flew in the Grammy Award winner to croon “Happy Birthday” to his girl.

“It was a complete surprise,” Michael says. “Katy idolizes Usher and we had been in the club celebrating for a couple of hours when he appeared. Katy nearly fainted. It was a really good night.”

A friend of the 'Back to Black' singer told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "She has a spare room in her house which she has been to terrified to redecorate because she believes a child died there.

It has creepy aeroplane wallpaper and a weird feel to it. "Amy is terrified because she thinks he's managed to take over the entire house and has brought bad spirits with him that are scratching and harming her." This is the latest in a string of bizarre incidents for Amy. Earlier this week, three strange internet films of her and rock star Pete Doherty were released, including one where the pair played with baby mice. Meanwhile, Glastonbury festival organisers yesterday confirmed Amy will perform this year in a slot on the main stage on June 28. Continue to remember Amy in your prayers. His 24-year-old bride – who missed her scheduled Friday visit because of a traffic snarl – spent the big day watching bad boy Pete Doherty play in a charity soccer tournament. But she did show up at London's Pentonville Prison Monday, modeling a pencil skirt, v-neck black top and wearing a heart – emblazoned with the word "Blake" – in her trademark beehive, Britain's Daily Mail reports. Afterward, photographers spotted Winehouse grabbing take out (fish and chips – for one) before heading back to her North London apartment.

Meanwhile English musician Pete Doherty was thrown out of the Millwall football ground when he was caught peeing in a trophy. Doherty, who is a fan of the London rivals QPR, was at the League One side's New Den stadium to play in the Celebrity Soccer Sixes tournament when he decided to pull the prank. "Babyshambles were given access to the chairman's office (that was the mistake right there!) so the attention surrounding Pete wouldn't get in the way of all the other guests," the Sun quoted a source as saying. "He decided to play a prank but overstepped the mark.

AMY WINEHOUSE's mother is confident her daughter will one day resurrect her flagging career - and defy critics who claim the troubled star is heading for an early grave. Janis Winehouse, 53, believes her daughter's craving for "constant drama" led to her drug addiction. But she is convinced the Rehab hitmaker will eventually overcome her problems to make a triumphant career comeback. She tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, "I don't think she's totally lost control. She's a girl who lives on the edge; she toys with it. But she has an awareness of it, too - and that will save her in the end. "Maybe it's because I'm her mother, but I think Amy will have a resurrection, and everyone will say: 'I thought she was going to kill herself - but here she is.'"

Meanwhile she was far from upset when the troubled star eloped to wed last year (07) - because she believes her daughter's nuptials to BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL were a "joke". The Rehab hitmaker wed the music industry assistant, 25, in an unannounced ceremony in Miami, Florida last May (07) - less than a month after he proposed to her. And although the 24-year-old's father, Mitch, begged the star not to tie the knot until she returned to her native England, her mother Janis insists she wasn't upset about the rushed affair.

Rapper ICE-T is set for an unusual collaboration next month (Jun08) - when he hits the stage for a unique performance with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. The hip-hop star will grace the stage at Indiana's Hilbert Circle Theatre on 18 June for the world premiere of the orchestrated version of late American poet Langston Hughes' 12-part masterpiece, Ask Your Mama: Twelve Moods for Jazz. Ice-T - real name Tracy Marrow - will narrate Hughes' poetry set to the music of jazz professor Dr. Ronald McCurdy, who composed the project using musical cues that had been suggested by Hughes before he died in 1967.

The performance will be the first time the rapper/actor has performed with a live symphony orchestra. He tells AllHipHop.com, "It is a great honour to perform with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Ron McCurdy for this landmark event celebrating the brilliance of Langston Hughes."

"Mick and Amy have a great relationship. They have been working on material while I was in prison," Contactmusic quoted Doherty as saying. "When I came out I went straight to the recording studio. I just want to get music going," he said. Further Doherty believes that he can stay clean by immersing himself in music. "It's great news really because we've (Babyshambles) been told we will be doing a third album. That will keep me busy and hopefully out of trouble," he added. She tells Entertainment Tonight, "It snuck up on me. "I was out of the window. I had one foot out, and the maid opened the door at the exact right moment. I was literally shifting my weight." Summer became a born again Christian after the attempt, and has never looked back. Now 59, she recently signed a new record deal and is planning a comeback. LATEST: Rapper VANILLA ICE repeatedly threatened to kill himself in a bizarre 911 call his wife made during a violent row last month. Ice - real name Robert Van Winkle - was eventually cleared of domestic battery after the bitter confrontation at their Palm Beach, Florida home on 10 April. A tape recording of the call his wife Laura made to emergency services on the night has been leaked to TMZ.com. It reveals her desperate pleas for a divorce and his threats to end his life.

At one point the operator asks if there are guns in the house, Laura confirms there are, and Van Winkle is heard saying, "I don't need a gun." Later in the seven minute-long conversation, Laura told the operator, "All I really want is a divorce. He is too controlling," and Van Winkle can be heard saying, "I'm going to kill myself, I swear to God." Police were dispatched to the scene and Van Winkle was arrested. Laura later retracted her statement, accusing him of hitting and kicking her, and charges were dropped.

RELEASED FROM JAIL: Troubled pop star AMY WINEHOUSE has been cautioned by British police after confessing to allegations of assault. But, after explaining her actions to police on Saturday (26Apr08) morning, she was released without charge. In a statement, the star's spokesman says, "Amy Winehouse was questioned this morning at a London police station in connection to an incident in Camden in the early hours of 23 April, 2008. "She admitted to a common assault by slapping a man with an open hand and accepted a caution. "Amy was fully co-operative with inquiries and apologised for the incident.

She thanked the police for their professional handling of the matter. (With no charges?) There will be no further action taken. "Amy is looking forward to continuing her work on new music in the studio." The caution means that although Winehouse escaped any formal prosecution, the incident will remain on record and could count against her if she faces any similar allegations in the future.

THRILLER: Janet Jackson says she likes DRAG QUEENS and likes to be one!

American singer Janet Jackson has revealed that the legion of drag queens, who attempt to mimic her act, have impressed her so much that she would like to be one.

Jackson admitted that whenever she hears of drag stars imitating her, she always checks them out, and she has found that some of them are pretty amazing. "One of them was at the Baton (Show Lounge) in Chicago. This was a few years ago. And she did a wonderful job. (There was) another... in Atlanta at the Jungle. She did a wonderful job as well," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. "They really study you... (and) they pour it on more, which I absolutely love. They give more than I do and I love that.


The first time I went to the Baton in Chicago and saw this show, I was with some of my dancers. "Afterward, I said to my dancers, 'We've gotta pull (it) up because these bitches are hitting it. They're giving so much femininity and we look like boys onstage'," she added. The singer revealed to Eonline.com that sometimes the drag queens' Janet routines make it into her live shows. "We were trying our hardest to ooze with that feminine touch," she said. The singer also said that she would love to 'drag it up' for a magazine photo shoot. "It would be really fun to do a whole editorial spread in a magazine with me as a drag queen, completely from head to toe. I would love to do that," she stated.

Amy Winehouse fights with cab driver: She had no FARE!!!

AMY WINEHOUSE fought with a taxi driver outside her London home on Tuesday (22Apr08) - after trying to exit the cab without paying the fare. The Rehab singer took a cab home from a night out in Camden, North London, but when she arrived at her house, she realised she had forgotten her cash, keys - and was locked out. Why is Amy always getting locked out???? The 24-year-old left the driver waiting for his money while she attempted to break into her house through the garage.

After 20 minutes, the frustrated taxi driver approached the star to ask for his $80 (£40) fare. But Winehouse allegedly lashed out at the man, hurling a string of obscenities at him and attempting to strike him in front of the gathered paparazzi. She eventually gave the driver a $40 (£20) note and he left. Waiting photographers, having witnessed the entire scene, pooled together and covered the rest of the bill. Phew!
