STEVIE WONDER SLAMS NAS' N**GER LP!

Soul legend STEVIE WONDER has blasted rapper NAS for planning to call his new album N**GER - insisting the word is still offensive to a lot of people. Nas came under fire from both the media and his record label, Def Jam, for using the racist term as the title for the LP - and he was eventually persuaded to change it. The record will now simply be titled Nas. But Wonder is disgusted that the star ever decided to use such an inflammatory term for his work - as the public debate over the issue will have stirred up a lot of painful memories for many people. And the Superstition hitmaker hopes the public will eventually be able to erase the insult from their vocabularies.

He says, "I'm not with the word only in that we had buried the word and it should have been buried. "People say, 'Well we use it for fun and whatever.' I'm not really feeling it and I know sometimes it comes in (to) conversation... For all the pain that has happened over the years, what that word brings up, it needs to go away."

CONTROVERSY BREWING AROUND RIHANNA'S RELATIONSHIP WITH MELISSA!

Mediatakeout is reporting that this new tatoo on Rihanna's shoulders are Melissa Ford's birthday. Mmmm... you be the judge and take a look. The two are inseparable as reported but I really think it's a girlfriend thing. I have one pal like that and we are not gay or nothing. Meanwhile Melissa took the above picture at the MMVA Pressroom. For all those who have been asking, the Rihanna entourage breezed out so fast that I ran after them and yelled.........."R-I-H-A-N-N-A! STOP RIGHT THERE!" Then I told her I played her record to DEATH in Nigeria while I was a radio personality at Radio Nigeria.

She stopped and asked me "Which one." I then said "We Ride.......It's the national anthem over there." It's from her second album. She then grabbed me and said thanks then we should do the picture I wanted but strangely she was looking over her shoulders like the entourage won't let her. Then Melissa was like "C'mon....let's go" after taking the picture!!! It was like Ri-Ri was being controlled somehow by Ford. I won't say it was a lesbian relationship at all. It was more like a personal assistant thing.

On Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards Ottawa rapper Belly was introduced as the "Godfather of Canadian Hip Hop" *pause*. Read that last sentence again. That's right Godfather. Some around these parts may take offense to such a statement, our man Ty Harper, who filled in for Arcee on Monday's show, was one. If we use description #4, we can clearly see, Belly, who was not even born when Hip Hop was introduced to Canada, doesn't quite squeeze into the XXL shirt. Godfather is a powerful statement, only an originator can hold that moniker. Originating or shaping a movement has nothing to do with record sales, video's or awards. Making a statement like that is disrespectful to those have laid the groundwork for you to attain such things. Maybe we're over-reacting, maybe it was meant as #3, the cliche Hip Hop persona. Mob boss. That's original. Maybe he is an originator.

MC LYTE FIGHTS FOR FEMALE RAP GRAMMY! UNHAPPY WITH THE LEGAL SYSTEM PENALIZING FEMALE RAPPERS!

Rap veteran MC LYTE is spearheading a new campaign to help her peers pick up more Grammy Awards. The Cha Cha Cha hitmaker, who became the first female rapper to score a gold single, is using her position on the Grammy committee to reinstall a category for the ladies of hip-hop at the annual music Oscars. She says, "We have not had a female rap category at the Grammys since 2003, and I'm trying to get this thing reinstated for 2009. "I'm getting all of these sisters ready, whether they're signed or unsigned." You go girl!

MC LYTE fears the U.S. legal system is sexist when it comes to punishing the ladies of hip-hop - because they get a tougher deal than their male counterparts. The 1990s rap sensation admits she was horrified by the sentences handed down to Foxy Brown and Lil' Kim, while T.I. served a house arrest term on illegal weapons charges over Christmas (07) and R. Kelly's child pornography case took six years to get to court.

In a recent statement on her okaysister.blogspot.com website, MC Lyte wrote, "After allegedly purchasing firearms and such, T.I. gets to stay home in the comfort of his luxurious Atlanta home, while nearly every woman in the game that has been taken in for something has either done time or (they're) waiting on pins and needles to know the outcome of their cases." And now she's speaking out about the trend for jailing her peers. Hey guys, she HAS A POINT! I love TIP dearly but also that REMY MA sentence is controversial too to some fans.....

Australian singer blasts MADONNA as Vulgar!

Music newcomer SAM SPARRO has lashed out at superstar MADONNA - branding the Queen of Pop "vulgar". Australian singer Sparro hit out at the 4 Minutes star after she beat his debut single Black & Gold to the top of the U.K. charts with her Justin Timberlake collaboration in April (08) - insisting at 49, she is too old to carry on performing sexy dance routines. He tells Britain's Attitude magazine, "Madonna is wretched at the moment absolutely vulgar. Put it away. You're not young and sexy any more." And Sparro is disappointed the pop legend has snubbed the conservative music she favoured in the late 1990s. He adds, "(She was) thoughtful and mature for a while and now she's chucked it away in a desperate attempt at being hot again. It's a bit vile."

OH MY: Madonna uses F-word on TV show!!!

Pop superstar Madonna, who performed in Britain recently, used the f-word twice on a TV show, which led to complaints. The sun.co.uk reports that furious complaints followed the broadcast even though the viewers were warned that there might be strong language.

Madonna introduced her song 'Hung Up' on the show, saying, 'You guys are going to have to start f***ing it up out there 'cos I need to feel some love. I'm going to do an old song. But not too old. F**k the present. Let's live in the past.' She had also caused controversy last year when she swore at the Live Earth gig.

MUSIC RIGHTS VIOLATION: Black Eye Peas need a black eye for going to play in China!

Anytime I black and white a picture of me and a celeb, I'm very upset! BLACK EYED PEAS rapper WILL.I.AM has rubbished claims the band won't play a gig in China despite calls for artists to boycott the country over its terrible human rights record. A host of celebrities such as George Clooney and Richard Gere have called on fellow artists to snub China as a performance destination to force the country to allow Tibet to decide its own future. Riot Breaks Out At DMX Show At Indiana University!

DMX was performing at the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house on the Indiana University campus yesterday when his set was cut short after a small riot broke out. Indiana Daily Student, the college's newspaper, is reporting that DMX's show was supposed to begin at 8:30pm and run for an hour but when DMX got there late and didn't take the stage until 9:30pm, campus police went in to shut the performance down.

When police removed DMX from the stage, the crowd got agitated and started to yell at the officers. More campus police were called in and eventually were also joined by Bloomington Police and State Police officers. At one point, the entire front row of the audience was maced. Lauren Smith, a junior at the school, said that DMX had liquor on stage with him and promised to share it with students. “All of sudden, cops came on the stage so I thought he might be getting in trouble for alcohol,” Smith told the Daily Student. The maced students ran out onto nearby Third Street, which authorities later shut down. It is unclear whether or not any arrests were made.

Scrappy and Diamond showed up at the church together too!!!

Scrappy and Mama Dee (Scrappy's mom and a good pal), I know you are reading this. LOL! I need some kind of explanation for this picture! You too Diamond!!! I did an interview with Diamond in 2005 when she was with Crime Mob. I have never aired it as I have an interview vault. That dress is risque for church gurl! I will air it sometimes this summer when that computer arrives. Very interesting! It is on my studio computer in Nigeria when I moved home after leaving the USA finally after 24 yrs in 2005. That is the same computer with my interview with Bobby Brown's mama! That one was CRAZY!

My cousin will be bringing it back to Toronto when he goes home in May for his wedding. As you know, Diamond left the group late last year. Who said she was pregnant? Those rumors last November and pictures of baby bumps all over! Now if she was pregnant, she should be 7 months now and showing. I haven't seen Scrappy since that photo above in 2005. More to come.

This episode is just as funny and once again, Americans have been deprived of free speech!

Is Diddy really getting a STAR in Hollywood this time?

This morning on Toronto's Flow 93.5FM's 6.40am scoop, Melanie from the morning show said Diddy will be getting a Star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. She even played a clip of him announcing it AGAIN! Meanwhile Diddy is full of it! Remember he said on 106 & Park last December that he was getting a Star in Hollywood on JANUARY 11th 2008? AND WE ALL WAITED and nothing happened. I was even thinking it had to do with the death of the Mayor of Hollywood, that guy that gives them the Star. May 2nd heh? Pleeaze Diddy!

Usher's Producer leaks new tracks online, then apologizes?

USHER's producer has apologised to the R+B superstar for leaking music from his upcoming album online. Polow Da Don admits he recently placed unfinished tracks, including Love In This Club and Timbaland/Ludacris collaborations Moving Mountains and Dat Gurl Right There, on the internet. The studio wizard claims he leaked the tracks to build momentum for the Usher album, which doesn't yet have a release date.

Da Don explains to MTV, "I actually leaked it, I'm the culprit. It's no secret. "I told him (Usher) when I saw him that I had to put my relationship on the line: `If it fails, I know you probably gonna be mad at me. I know you probably won't f**k with me anymore.' "When I spoke to Usher, he was like, `Maaaan, why'd you do it?'. He knew I leaked the record, he didn't have to ask. I was like, `What?' He said, 'You know you leaked the record.' "But he was getting good calls on it too. He wasn't mad, but he was like, `Why'd you do that?' This jerk just lost his future production deals. I don't know why Usher is not working with my multi-Grammy award winning friend and Superproducer Manuel Seal who did his previous albums.
