INTERNET AND DIGITAL CABLE/PHONE PROBLEMS IN NORTHWEST TORONTO!

UPDATE: ..........AND I live in Northwest Toronto plus my home office and studio was GROUNDED 3 DAYS as the problems started to creep up 7 days ago! We had no cable, phone or internet! Things are still being intermittently being repaired as there is still one service check this morning Saturday 31st. I have received all your e-mails and press releases. The loss of signal paralyzed offices and businesses too.

I told you earlier "Do not 100% count on seeing new NEWS on the blog till Saturday but keep checking" but now things are back online. I missed a ton of business calls and couldn't even do anything. I picked up your e-mails from the library downstairs. Rogers Communications said it was an MPA problem. The technicians know what this means.

Best part I was credited for the entire month of May ($120 value!) Oh yeah!........Thanx for your patience!!! BTW, that picture was taken on my 16th birthday. I shall be 45 this August......Never lie about that age and I'm no teenage mama for those of you who asked about KJ's brothers. They are once again 23, 21, 16+ and KJ is 7+ and I had all boys. Those older ones give me $20 after each paycheck as my weekly salary. Couldn't a hardworking single mama earn $60 a week extra? I am a single mom too....abusive dad! I am an advocate for domestic violence and you must leave when that happens. I also work closely with Mildred Muhammed, the ex-wife of the DC Sniper who terrorized her and everyone in the DC/Baltimore area where I lived in 2002. 13 people were gunned down! HAPPY VICTORIA DAY: REASON FOR NOT BLOGGING EARLY TODAY!!

How unprofessional is that? Victoria Day (French: Fête de la Reine) is a Canadian statutory holiday celebrated on the last Monday before or on May 24 in honour of both Queen Victoria's birthday and the current reigning Canadian sovereign's birthday. While Victoria Day is often thought of as a purely Canadian event, it is also celebrated in some parts of Scotland, particularly in Edinburgh and Dundee, as well as in the Cayman Islands, where it is also a public holiday.

Now here's the real history: Bottom line, Queen Victoria was one of the meanest beotches in the Royal family. If I recollect, she was the wife of Henry the VIII the "playa" of a King of England back then. She came to Canada and told everyone to f--ing celebrate her birthday in the town square every damn year. This town is now known as Victoria, British Columbia near Vancouver. So that explains that hip-hop raido personality this morning who said....."thank you Vicky baby, I got the day off." I live next to a mall and on my balcony, I see NO cars but hear fireworks day and night! Can anyone tell some Canadians to stop blasting fireworks during the day? It's for the night time! Happy Victoria Day and I now begin blogging....

HOTTEST DAY IN T-DOT: I am interviewing this lady FIRST before any media in this town!

Says the Hefster and the whole building at the Playboy HQ in Chicago. Notice how special I am! I'm actually going first. EVEN before some news organization called the Canadian Press! Oooh weee!!! Did I say I'm so special at the Playboy head office in Chicago? Jayde Nicole, the new Playboy Playmate is coming home today to Ontario and she will make her first stop the capital which is Toronto. The Publicist Tina Manzo e-mailed me and let me quote Tina. "Kemi you ROCK" You see that story I did last week when Jayde was named circulated around the building. "The drought is over." A Canadian that's not a blonde or brunette?

The chic's got BLACK HAIR! What are the odds against that? Maybe Jayde could give me the winning numbers to Friday's Super Seven $25 million jackpot too. If you're reading from the States, that's a big jackpot around here plus it's tax free! Hardly do I show you my e-mails but this made my DAY! Fellas, get your butts over there and get an autograph!

DILEMMA: My name has changed to a symbol like PRINCE!

Beginning May 1st 2008, many of you started quizzing me on my name as it appeared at the end of my e-mails....... My first and last name is just too long and complicated. I only use it when reporting on live TV or anchoring on radio reports. Effective immediately, I will only be known as "Kemi" PERIOD! I am "branding my name" which is short for Olukemi (God takes care of me) like Sue is for Susan. My sister Oluyemi is called "Yemi" and my cousin Olufemi is called "Femi." These are yoruba names in Nigeria, West Africa.

It's bad enough KEMI is a town in Finland, a Kentucky (USA) insurance company and some oil for black hair. BTW, that's a picture of me about to anchor a local TV newscast in Nigeria this very day last year (May 3 07) before I moved to Canada. Look how fat Canada has fed my face. I will be Wiki profiling my life soon so you will have the Finland town, insurance company, hair oil and North American Journalist! LOL!

Singers and the red lipstick syndrome.

Any resemblance? The left one is Ashanti singing last night with her eyes closed and the right is Beyonce. The resemblance is that crazy red lipstick that's back!!!!!!!!!!! Even I still wear it on my blonde days. O yeah! The day is winding down.....LOL!

Why is Beyonce on the cover of TODAY'S PEOPLE Magazine????

Friday's PEOPLE: There is no story there! This is why I really can't stand all the tabloid mags..........Leave them alone and let them keep the secret till we hear about the divorce. I don't wish them that though. There is nothing in that PEOPLE magazine that anyone can't find on the blogs. What a waste!!! Even Solange said this morning....."What are you talking about?" when asked about the wedding. Jay-Z's new bodyguard said he'll break cameras at the ATL party on Tuesday if anyone tried to photograph a ring or get close to Beyonce.


That white guy scares me! When they came to Nigeria in 2006, thank God I had that media badge on, he was ready to break anyone into two. You better know Jay-Z's bodyguard. He was the one with him in a tuxedo on the Grammy red carpet this year. See him behind my Journalist brother Nduka whose paper planned the whole concert, Jay and Snoop after Jay's 14 song performance in Nigeria. (He needed the damn towel! Even I was sweating!!!) Above is Jay going on the Letterman show last week.


Beyonce sang our national anthem in Nigeria. Were we all shocked! I was working freelance for MTV Base that night. This is my video that my cameraman taped and we showed on Nigerian TV. MTV Base is MTV Africa/Europe.

Kemi's Responce: We Cool! We Cool! As Tupac said......."I ain't mad at ya!" Hear that Set? Set Shakur is Tupac's only sister who reads this site daily! Since I was a baby, my mom said I never even cried. That's me at 3 months old and I am 45 now. Like I said Glenda, I'm for real and have nothing to hide! Don't let my ugly duckling picture scare you. I ended up cute later on my first B-day below. LOL!

SOLVED!: The Chris Martin Musician Controversy!

To the teenager that asked me who was the Chris Martin ducking from the Paparazzi at Beyonce and Jay-Z's wedding party and why was he WHITE? You see darling, you were one-year-old then. About 17 years ago there was a Chris Martin who was in a hip-hop duo group called "Kid n'Play." Chris Martin above in the picture with me was also an actor with his pal "Kid" as he was known as "Play" starred in a bunch of movies called "House Party." Today, Martin is a movie producer at his Carolina Pinnacle Studios in Yancey, North Carolina. Martin was recently involved in a fatal accident where the driver who died was fleeing from police and crashed into him. Last I heard my pal was in stable condition. I reported it here.

The Chris Martin you saw ducking from the cameras is Chris Martin of the rock group "Coldplay." Kanye produced some songs for Coldplay and so did Jay-Z. Some of these ballads show up in Kanye's "Big Brother" track on the Graduation album. Coldplay is a British rock group and Chris Martin is the main vocalist and piano player. He is also married to Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow who you saw sitting right next to him in the car covering her face.

Let's start by taking you to Alex's website. My former ATL pal Alex Gidewon, (AG Entertainment) a very successful Ethopian party promoter holds these parties at his club venues. Without Alex, I wouldn't have gotten these interviews and photo ops! He used to own Visions which was sold and now he runs the Velvet room and Dreamz. Alex is obviously the one in the picture with all the celebrities on his website. I ain't mad at you but you cannot photoshop these kind of pictures baby! I used to run the website ATLcelebritynews.com which is now HipHossip.

Jay is sure busy tonight throwing a big after party with Jermaine Dupri in Atlanta after the HOTC tour. He promises a special guest. Who could that be? Mmmm......On the other side of downtown is Mary J and Diddy's party with L'il Kim at one of Alex's venues as you can see on the party flyer.

If you live in Atlanta, you will see at least 5 hip-hop artists on any one night at a club. It's the battle of the parties tonight. Man, I wanna get on the plane now but weekdays are bad for parties! LOL. So please, if you are not starstruck, ready to stand in a press line freezing in the cold sometimes and WAITING for a celeb to arrive on the red carpet, you shouldn't get into this business!

I have done crime, health and general assignment reporting in the TV and radio newsrooms but as for entertainment, I do on my own websites. Yes, I met Kanye, Ludacris, Pharrell and others and have exchanged e-mails and phone numbers with several of them which are all coded in my local African language on my cell phone in case that is ever stolen! Above is a 2004 autograph Beyonce signed for my sons Eni, Oyin and KJ. This job is real and very tedious. I hope that answers your questions. And yes, I tend to wear wigs of all kinds and colors and contact lenses in grey, green and hazel. I'm for real and certainly do not bullsh*t like some fakes out there! My real hair is the one in Pharrell's photo. I cut it down to an afro. I am in my late 40's now and just don't have the time for all that salon crap.
