HipHossip now based in Nigeria is a Global Music and Media News Blog. Though gone GLOBAL and rebranded, it was once called "Canada's Leading Music Blog" by VH1, BET, MTV, WORLD STAR HIP-HOP and several Music celebrities when it was created 2007 in Canada as a music blog by mother son team "Ms Kemi" and music blogger/artist KJ the Kid Reporter aka Rapper/Singer Kay Jeezy.

MsKemi is the Editor-in-Chief, a local Music Journalist, Certified Publicist, Social Media Music Expert and Former Toronto based Gun Victims Advocate now based in NIGERIA effective SEPTEMBER 1ST 2012.

Praised in 2013 by MTV Exit on being a top supporter in the quest to end Child Slavery and Trafficking and also praised by the Toronto Police for helping remove Guns from the streets and saving lives. In 2011, the force called her work against gun violence "World Class Nobel Peace worthy"

She has been commended by the Canadian media for her work in standing up for Toronto victims and their families in several murders. MsKemi tweets under @Snitchlady to publicize homicide case awareness. Her Facebook homicide page "What About Our Sons?" was featured on TV and Radio stations in Toronto.

Kay Jeezy (KJ), 12-years-old is the Music Director/CEO of HipHossip, was nicknamed the "youngest boss" in Canada. An Activist himself, he has launched awareness campaign for The Special Olympics "R Word" day, Reported from WeDay 2010, Haiti Earthquake and the Plight of Child Soldiers.

His blog The Kid Reporter has been featured on several media outlets as the youngest known blogger back when he started in 2007 as a 7-year-old. He has appeared on CityTV, CTV, Toronto Sun, 680News Radio, Z103FM and Flow 93.5FM all in Toronto, Canada and also several newspapers. KJ's all time fave band is Hedley, a dynamic Canadian group. He knows all the track lyrics word for word with his fave song being "Don't talk to strangers" and his dream is to meet the band some day. Update: He met Jacob at WeDay 2010.

KJ LAUNCHES HIS FIRST RAP SONG "MY MOM'S A SNITCH"

A bunch of 8-year-old girls were watching this earlier and had the hots for ma baby. He wrote it all. I just put the video together for him. JStaffz produced the track. It's a first. KJ wrote this song based on my work with families of crime victims hosting FREE news conferences for them.

We need to snitch the right way. So many young men are murdered in Toronto and cases not solved!! You can find this video on Toronto Police's TAVIS FB page. Good job KJ. You can download the song at our Reverbnation store.
