Drake made a surprise appearance at Kid Cudi's show in Toronto on Saturday. Cudi introduced the Canadian rapper to the crowd at Kool Haus, saying, "He's probably the only person I'm cool with in this business. Everybody else sucks."

Drake then came onstage to perform his hit single, "Forever," and was greeted with overwhelming applause from the crowd. Kid Cudi is currently touring as the opening act on Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour.

Mariah Carey's New Year's resolution is to start a family with husband Nick Cannon the superstar singer has hinted they will clear their hectic schedules in 2010 to have children.

But Carey insists they're holding off on having kids until at least the New Year (10) when work commitments and Christmas celebrations are out of the way - because she wants her children to have their parents' full attention.

Beyonce clashed with Columbia Records bosses over her debut solo album Dangerously In Love because label executives were convinced none of the tracks had the potential to become hit singles. The former Destiny's Child star was left speechless when she presented her finished project to Columbia executives, only to be told to go back into the studio and start again.

But the R&B superstar refused to change her track listing and her instincts were proved correct when the disc became a worldwide smash upon its release in 2003 - going on to win five Grammy Awards the following year (04).

She says, "In 2003 I had my first solo album. But when I played it through for my record label, they told me I didn't have one hit on my album. Dangerously In Love, (and singles) Naughty Girl, Me, Myself and I, Baby Boy and Crazy In Love. "They told me I didn't have one hit. I guess they were kinda right, I had five." Beyonce's 2004 Grammy success matched the likes of Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys for most wins by a female artist in a single night.

Bad news for R&B fans expecting to stock their stockings with Usher's new album just in time for the holidays. According to his label, Usher's "Raymond Vs. Raymond" has been shifted to an undetermined release date.

Previously due for release mid-December, "Raymond Vs. Raymond" is led by Usher's Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs top ten charting single "Papers".

Issuing a statement earlier this week, a representative for the Grammy Award winner told Reuters "This is a solid album that we believe in. We want to give it a proper launch."

"Raymond Vs. Raymond" follows Usher's 2008 effort "Here I Stand," which spawned the hit singles "Love In This Club" and "Trading Places".

50 CENT SETTLES LAWSUIT WITH TACO BELL.

Rapper 50 Cent has settled his legal battle with fast food chain Taco Bell after accusing the company of using his name in an advertising campaign without his permission. The In Da Club hitmaker, real name Curtis Jackson, filed suit against company bosses in July, 2008, alleging the promo was "diluting the value of his good name" by using it in conjunction with their 79-89-99 Cent Why Pay More campaign. He claimed the ad campaign suggested he was endorsing the franchise.

Taco Bell executives even offered to make a $10,000 donation to a charity of 50 Cent's choice if he agreed to change his name for one day. In an open letter published a month before 50 Cent took Taco Bell to court, bosses stipulated he must visit one of the chain's restaurants and rap his order at the drive-thru window - using a new moniker: 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. But 50 Cent was not amused by the marketing ploy and took legal action against Taco Bell, seeking $1 million in damages.

However, the dispute has now been settled out of court, according to Bloomberg. Results of the financial deal remain confidential, but the rapper's lawyer, Peter Raymond, declared on Monday (23Nov09) that "both parties are satisfied" with the outcome.

RIHANNA LASHES OUT AT CHRIS BROWN CONFIDANTES!

Rihanna has hit out at confidantes of her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after they took to the internet to criticize her for telling all about their volatile relationship in an explosive TV interview. The Umbrella hitmaker opened up for the first time about Brown's February (09) attack on her earlier this month (Nov09) in a revealing discussion with broadcaster Diane Sawyer.

Rihanna revealed how Brown "blacked out" as his punches rained down on her, adding, "It wasn't the same person that says I love you. It was not those... eyes. He had no soul in his eyes - just blank."

Her candid chat infuriated Brown's associates and dancer pals, and many turned to Twitter.com to defend the Kiss Kiss singer and accuse Rihanna of lying for the cameras. One dancer wrote, "I wish dancers can speak about things that really go on! Let me just say, Chris Brown was pushed to the extreme!" Another confidante added, "Shame on Rihanna." But Rihanna was shocked to learn who had written the online posts - because she used to call them friends too. She tells New York DJ Angie Martinez, "I saw it. It tricked me out (angered her) because I know a few of them."

The Bajan beauty insists she only sought to break the taboo surrounding domestic violence by talking so openly about the bust-up - and she's upset Brown's confidantes misinterpreted her comments as an attack on her ex. She says, "I kinda expected it (backlash). They think that I've got an agenda to destroy his career. That interview was solely to do with inspiring these young girls and providing a voice for them so they can have something to hold onto." Brown pleaded guilty to beating Rihanna and recently started a five-year community service sentence. He was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his ex for the next five years.

NIVEA SAYS SHE HAS NOT GIVEN BIRTH JUST YET!

R&B singer Nivea has brushed off reports she's welcomed a child with Lil Wayne, insisting she's still pregnant. The rapper was said to have been celebrating last week after Nivea made him a father for the fourth time by giving birth to a son. But Nivea, who has three other children from her previous relationship with producer The-Dream, has taken to her blog on Twitter.com to set the story straight, telling fans she's still waiting for the new arrival. She writes, "OK, I didn't have my baby yet unfortunately! So far (everything) you've heard or read is false, sorry!"

The new baby will be Lil Wayne's second child born this year (09) - actress Lauren London gave birth to his son Lennox Samuel Ari in September (09). The Lollipop hitmaker also has another son, Dwayne Carter III, who was born to an unidentified woman whom we know as Sarah B last year (08), and a daughter, Reginae, with ex-wife Antonia Carter.

ALICIA KEYS DELAYS ALBUM FOR BEYONCISH REASONS.

Alicia Keys put back the release date of her latest album so she could include a duet with pal Beyonce. The singer/songwriter had initially planned to release The Element of Freedom on 1 December (09), but earlier this month (Nov09), it was mysteriously pushed back to 15 December (09), and now Keys has explained why fans will have to wait two more weeks. The album now features duets with Beyonce and our newcomer Drake.

The Beyonce duet, Put It In A Love Song, was not featured in the initial release. Keys' duet with Beyonce's husband Jay-Z on Empire State of Mind is currently at number one in America. Keys is going ahead with a World Aids Day (01Dec09) concert in New York, which was to coincide with the original release date. The event will be streamed live on YouTube.com.

This rumor just won't go away! For the last few months, there’s been a lot of gossip about the Pussycat Dolls breaking up.

Earlier today The New York Post's Page Six reported that the girls were no longer on speaking terms with Nicole Scherzinger, but Hollyscoop can confirm exclusively that there is no truth to the rumors."The Pussycat Dolls are very much ALIVE and there is NO truth to the silent treatment statements," Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin tells Hollyscoop exclusively.

"Nicole and the Dolls have ALWAYS been close. Nicole is and always has been a strong creative force within this group and I cherish the way we collaborate."

The statement continued, "The Pussycat Dolls have proven their success over many years and will continue to do so. The PCD brand has evolved and has continuously grown since day one so look out for new music, new concepts, new faces and more hit songs!"

Sir Paul McCartney's concerts are always emotionally charged because playing live allows him to re-connect with his lost loved ones. The veteran performer is always reminded of his late bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison whenever he plays Beatles tracks. He also uses his music to remember his wife, Linda, who passed away in 1998 following a battle with breast cancer. McCartney admits he feels comforted by sharing his sadness with the audience.

He says, "If I'm doing songs by the Beatles I obviously remember the sessions we recorded, there's always an element of that. But if I'm doing something like Something, the song, obviously I'm thinking of George... It's great actually, I really like it. In a way I'm revisiting them. "I'm sort of thinking about George, similarly with John and Linda. In a way you're kind of in contact with them again, you know.

"And it's sad, it's emotional. There's a song I do called Here Today which is specifically written for John and that sometimes catches me out. I'm telling this man that I love him. I'm publicly declaring this in front of all these people I don't know. "It's a good thing to do. I couldn't have done it when I was 18 because I would not have allowed myself to cry or go anywhere near that. Now it's OK. I'm used to it."

Taylor Lautner's co-star Robert Pattinson has compared himself and his Twilight co-stars to the Beatles - insisting the teenage hysteria around the movie series is similar to the frenzied music fans of the 1960s.
The British band attracted hordes of dedicated devotees, and the intense fervour around the group became known as Beatlemania.

CONFESSIONS: JACKO NEVER ABUSED EVAN CHANDLER'S KID!

Michael Jackson's alleged abuse victim has cleared the King Of Pop's name by insisting the singer "never touched" him, according to the star's brother Jermaine. Jackson was the center of a 13-month police investigation after Evan Chandler accused the Thriller hitmaker of molesting his son Jordan in 1993. The star was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing in the courts, paying the then-teenager $22 million for "personal injuries arising out of claims of negligence" in return for dropping a civil suit against him.

Jordan has never spoken publicly about the case - but Jermaine claims the 29 year old has come forward since Jackson's death, admitting the late superstar never molested him. And Jermaine believes Jordan's dad Evan committed suicide earlier this month (Nov09) because his guilt over the false accusations was too much to bear. He says, "From the '93 case, they were accusing him (Jackson) of just the most horrible things. This kid's father has committed suicide because he just couldn't take it and now the kid has come forward and said Michael never touched him."
Officials ruled 56-year-old Evan Chandler's death a suicide after he was found with a gunshot wound to the head and a revolver in his hand at his home in New Jersey.

I knew Chandler would kill himself as the kid came forward. The legal implication could have led him straight to jail. What ever happened to that $22 million he got? Michael can slap him silly in heaven but wait? Chandler went to HELL!

RIHANNA'S GOT A CRUSH ON JESSE OF GREY'S ANATOMY!

Rihanna has moved on from Chris Brown - she developed a crush on Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams after he appeared in her latest music video. The actor, who played Dr. Jackson Avery on the hit show, starred opposite the Bajan beauty in the promo for her new single Russian Roulette.

And ever since they wrapped filming, Rihanna, who famously split from the Kiss Kiss hitmaker after he attacked her in February (09), has been swooning over Williams. When asked about her crushes, Rihanna said, "Well, there's this actor. His name is Jesse Williams. He was in Grey's Anatomy and I have him in my video for Russian Roulette. He's so hot."

UGLY Camilla condemns Beyoncé's 'terrifying' gangster rap videos for glorifying sex and violence .

The Duchess of Cornwall yesterday spoke for the first time about the way youngsters are sexualised by explicit rap videos.

Camilla was taking part in a discussion with victims of sexual violence during a visit to a rape crisis centre when the topic turned to how music videos affect teenagers today.

She told an audience of women that children thought they could get away with things because teachers failed to punish them.

Referring to the images children are exposed to, the Duchess said: 'A lot of those videos are terrifying.

'I am sure they trigger a response in some of the young people. I can never understand how they can get away with making those things.'

The Duchess has until now avoided speaking in public on social issues.

Her stance has been in marked contrast to Charles' first wife, Diana, Princess of Wales, who was renowned for the way in which she tackled controversial issues.

Yesterday the Duchess made clear her concern that youngsters are already becoming immune to such images of sex and violence.

She said schools needed to become involved in teaching both male and female schoolchildren 'the value of respect for each other'.

During the discussions, the subject turned to a controversial video by pop singer Beyonce, who is particularly popular with young girls.

R&B star Chris Brown to discuss attack of ex-girlfriend Rihanna on ABC's '20/20'

ABC says Chris Brown will appear on its "20/20" newsmagazine Dec. 11.

In what's billed as an in-depth interview, the singer will discuss his assault of ex-girlfriend and recording superstar Rihanna in February. He is on probation for the beating.

Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC's "Good Morning America," conducts the interview. It was taped last weekend.

ABC spokesman Jeffrey Schneider says clips may also air on "Good Morning America." He says Brown will not perform live.

Brown is scheduled to release his album "Graffiti" on Dec. 8. He has previously spoken about the attack on MTV News and "Larry King Live."

Rihanna was interviewed this month by ABC's Diane Sawyer.

Rapper Eminem wants to team up with Simon Cowell - insisting he'd make the perfect judge on a TV singing contest. The Stan hitmaker is adamant programs like Cowell's American Idol and The X Factor ought to have a panel of superstars calling the shots because they're better equipped to help wannabes prepare for life in the spotlight.

And Eminem believes a hip-hop artist will never succeed on a talent show without an expert like himself to mentor them. He says, "No disrespect to the current judges but you need people who are global, platinum-selling stars. You need to prepare contestants for what it's really like out there, and what sort of pressure you are going to be under. So much average talent comes out of these reality shows, it's time to give people a chance who deserve it. Eminem's mom Debbie Nelson is set to marry her agent - even though he sued her last year (08).

Meanwhile the rapper's mother is to wed Neal Alpert, who filed suit against Nelson, her co-author and publishing company last April (08) for a share of the profits from her tell-all book My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem. The case was dismissed in summer (09) and the pair has since rebuilt their relationship by becoming engaged.

Alpert confirmed the news to RadarOnline.com, while a source tells the website, "It's going to be a nice-sized wedding, that's for sure. When it comes to marriage it's not about the sex, it's about being with your best friend. He has always been a gentleman and respectful and never sold her out for a penny, even when he had the chance."

The Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia, issued a final decree Wednesday in the R&B singer's divorce case, legally ending his two-year marriage to Tameka Foster Raymond a woman that has made his life miserable for 2 years. Hope he gets custody and raises those boys well. Tameka is no longer the "soon to be ex", the phrase that has her attack my blog and call my HOME cursing me below. She is now officially the EX! She will be coming to Canada soon, mark my words and "she won't be going to the ex!"

FAT JOE AFFILIATE RAPPER MIKE BECK SHOT AND KILLED IN BROOKLYN ROBBERY ATTEMPT FRIDAY NITE!!

Mike Beck, an aspiring rapper and affiliate of Fat Joe was shot and killed Friday night in Brooklyn, New York. Mike Beck was a member of the rap collective K.A.R. (Kill All Rats), which also featured group members Rob Kash, Onez and Leader. Sources told AllHipHop.com that Beck was shot and killed on Logan and Bellmar Street in Brooklyn, and that a botched robbery attempt could have been the motive.
