HipHossip was created in 2007 by mother son team "Ms Kemi" and music lover KJ the Kid Reporter aka Rapper Kay Jeezy. Ms Kemi is the Editor, a local Music Publicist and Journalist while KJ is the Music Director.

THIS BLOG IS CANADA'S FIRST EVER URBAN/POP/ROCK MUSIC BLOG FEATURED ON VH1, MTV, BET, TORONTO SUN, TORONTO STAR, AOL, CTV, NATIONAL POST, GLOBE AND MAIL, TORONTO RADIO STATIONS FLOW 93.5FM, Z103.5FM, GLOBAL NEWS, CBC-TV, NEWSTALK 1010AM, MACLEANS MAGAZINE.

Both avid music lovers, KJ knows every concept of music in today's pop culture and picks your videos to be promoted on HipHossip if he likes it. We figure if the kid loves it, it's kid friendly. KJ has also interviewed Canadian artists and others alike. Some are Classified, Knaan, Estelle, FloRida..... He knows his stuff! Even Jacob Hoggard, lead singer of Hedley knows as he points to KJ!! LOL!

KJ's all time fave band is Hedley, a dynamic Canadian group. He knows all the track lyrics word for word with his fave song being "Don't talk to strangers" and his dream is to meet the band some day. Update: He met Jacob at WeDay 2010.

KJ also writes his own blog thekidreporter.com and has been featured as the youngest known blogger. He has appeared on CityTV, CTV, Toronto Sun, 680News Radio, Z103FM and Flow 93.5FM all in Toronto, Canada and also several newspapers. Follow KJ @Iamswagkid

KJ LAUNCHES HIS FIRST RAP SONG "MY MOM'S A SNITCH"

A bunch of 8-year-old girls were watching this earlier and had the hots for ma baby. He wrote it all. I just put the video together for him. JStaffz produced the track. It's a first. KJ wrote this song based on my work with families of crime victims hosting FREE news conferences for them.

We need to snitch the right way. So many young men are murdered in Toronto and cases not solved!! You can find this video on Toronto Police's TAVIS FB page. Good job KJ. You can download the song at our Reverbnation store.
