Cha-Ching Lyrics

So everybody dance and everybody sing,
If you wanna go far, if you wanna be a star
Yeah we can swing it,
Cha-ching
When you take off all your clothes, when you strike a playboy pose
If you wanna go far, if you wanna be a star
Then you gotta bring it
Cha-ching

CANADA, PLS ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE TWO DYNAMIC RADIO PERSONALITIES WHO KICKED OFF MY CAREER IN RADIO. MEET MARC CLARKE AND TROY JOHNSON.

Sadly to first tell you that these two dynamic men were affected by the recession media cuts in the USA but their resume is TOPS in any market! They were #1 in a whole huge demographic for years as 92Q Jams Baltimore soared to the #1 station in town. As you know I lived in Baltimore 15 years, 1988-2003 and worked as a Pharmacist and part time medical show host on CBS radio V103FM 1996-98, then interned at WBAL 1090AM radio.

One Crazy Story:
When I officially decided to go to broadcasting school, I would actually use their show to practice my skills. Yes! So what? Marc and Troy and Marva their former co-host gave me a chance! That is what life is about. Giving people the chance to succeed. As Marc once said on-air.... "Kemi will be jacking the show in a few minutes" and I'll be ready to dial and always get thru! What I did was after every award show, Grammys, AMA, MTV etc, I would call in the next day and virtually do an entertainment report detailing the winners, losers and the fashions.

Baltimoreans knew me as the wannabe that called WERQ and were loving it. But Marc and Troy along with Marva would just listen and digest my report then ask questions as sometimes they were in bed early and missed some award shows. I became an instant roving reporter on their station. HOT PR! I later interned at the #1 radio news station WBAL Radio, graduated and moved away to Atlanta where I did everything from traffic reports to TV and finally finding my niche as an online Journalist. That is why I still work part time freelance as a writer today at a local station here for the noon and 6pm newscasts and blog 8 sites in my blog network! I love writing.

Marc and Troy were affected by the layoffs as their stations downsized masively letting go of several morning shows and syndicating into one. They regularly appear on different radio programs and do other ventures plus of course their new blog OFF THE MIC in the Baltimore Sun newspapers which I want you all to know about. OTM as I will call it is a very interesting blog that I reach out to read daily! Bookmark it today and I am pleased to tell you that it will be added to my HipHossip online partner list. We LOVE YA FELLAS! Below are Marc and Troy's bios.

Marc Clarke has been a media personality for more than 20 years, hosting morning radio programs in such cities as Charleston, S.C., and St. Louis, Mo., and was the host of the top-rated Marc Clarke and The Big Phat Morning Show on Baltimore's 92Q for nine years. He remains active in the community, working with the city's youth and serving on the board of the American Red Cross.

Troy Johnson has almost 20 years of broadcast experience from hip-hop to hot talk. First as co-host of 92Q's Big Phat Morning Show and then as host of The Troy Johnson Show on 105.7 WHFS, Troy focused on educating and informing Baltimore by sparking dialogue and debate for the past nine years. Now, reunited with his "turntable brotha" Marc Clarke, Troy is ready to take on the blogosphere ... get ready for the ride! Troy is president of the Baltimore chapter of the Association of Black Media Workers and serves as ombudsman on the board of Community Media of Baltimore City.
