Rapper Juvenile's daughter gunned down by 17-year old stepbrother!

I read this story this morning here in Toronto as another crime story of sad proportions in my former hometown of ATL, until at 5pm when it was reported to me that the youngest victim was Juvenile's daughter. A 17-year-old was arrested Friday in the murder of his mother, a Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy, and his two sisters. Anthony Tyrone Terrell above right is charged with killing his mother, Joy Deleston, and his sisters Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4. Terrell is a junior at Central Gwinnett High School.

Jelani is the daughter of rap star Juvenile, according to child support records in Gwinnett County. The rapper's real name is Terius Gray. Terrell was charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. He is being held without bond. Juvenile nor his Publicists had no comments and did not return calls from the media. Dekalb County media relations however told me that Terrell led them to where he dumped the weapon but would not disclose if it was his mother's service weapon. More at Atlanta's top TVstation WSB-TV

Dance-orama: Janet Jackson does Larry King last night!

Larry asked her about her depression in the 90's and how she gained weight when she was depressed. She spoke about how their parents grounded them so that they did not end up like Britney and Lindsay. Asked about Amy Winehouse's drug abuse and how she got so many Grammys, she said she felt drugs go with some performers. "She's singing from her heart" she said of Amy about the Rehab song.

She said she was at Studio 54 at 10 years old with her brothers and saw people doing drugs even though she wasn't supposed to be at a club at that age. Isn't that child endangerment today? Larry asked about the tattoo on her wrist everyone was talking about and she showed it. When asked about how Michael having no childhood she promptly replied "yeah for sure!" That shocked me how she answered that!

Larry asked why the Jackson are targets of negative media? She said she doesn't know. She said she would love to tour as a family again like the Osmonds did. She wants to open for them and calls them all the time but one of them is not ready. Larry asked "Michael?" Yeah, she said. She loved the Thriller re-release for the 25th anniversary and also told Larry they never got any dance lessons in that family but all they watched was Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers on TV.

CNN then showed the "Scream" video and the "Control" video. They talked about her NAACP award for the Tyler Perry movie and how she beat out Queen Latifah who won the Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG for the same award. They then talked about the Jermaine Dupri relationship. She said she does not know if she'll get married. "I don't want to pressure him, it's good where it is." He said Dupri is very easy to work with in the studio.



Finally, Larry asked for it......telling Janet to show him some dance moves. Janet was trying to teach him how to dance. His brittle body almost broke in half as Janet yelled on him to dance right and put his hands here and there. He asked Janet what kind of dance that was and Janet replied...."the kind on the video behind us." LOL! I would have taped this but my camcorder lithium battery is finished. I do need a new one after 4 years! Let's hope all this lands on YouTube soon. It was insanely FUNNY!

Larry King gave up! He is already 100 years old and could have collapsed right there on live TV. Thank God, that didn't happen!!! As Larry was about to introduce Anderson Cooper for AC360, Cooper couldn't help laughing so hard and said "sorry I have to disturb you" as Larry and Janet waltzed away on a more easier and traditional dance. Kodos to larry for having so many music stars on this year so far. Snoop Dogg, Will i am, John Legend, Janet, Kidd Rock etc. We have the video now on CNN.

The Wednesday show had Toni talked about her son with her husband Keri Lewis formerly of R&B group "Mint Condition" on how they are coping with taking care of 3-year-old Deziel. As you know she broke down last year crying on"The View" when she learned about this diagnosis. We all did and we are all worn out. Look how tired she looked......Keep her in your prayers please.

Mystikal has been denied PAROLE!

Mystikal is currently serving a 6-year sentence for sexual battery and extortion, after he forced his hairstylist to perform sexual acts on him and videotaped the incident, after the woman allegedly stole $80,000 in checks. Guess he'll have to do all 6 years. Why can't everyone be like Will Smith?

Pharrell defends Snoop's pot use!

My pal Pharrell Williams angrily defended Snoop Dogg at Monday’s Hip Hop Summit Action Awards, blasting critics of his marijuana use. Didn't Snoop tell the world on Larry King that he was legally on medical marijuana? Please! I'm not encouraging pot use. That sh*t is dangerous but can someone call Snoop's doctor?

Snoop takes this thing on a daily basis. I saw him puff these marijuameds daily, even on stage for his 10pm dose. All that smoke on the stage while Snoop's cousin was videotaping was medical pot he lit up on stage.

I was there and even Busta Rhymes and Spliff got into the act too jumping on stage to help Snoop light up........and I quote Busta on stage " Sh*t! This African weed is sure GOOD!" Busta's pot was NOT prescribed! Can't forget your meds now Snoop.......LOL! Kids, don't DO POT!

Judge protects Diddy's financial info!

Stemming from that lawsuit for assault. Doesn't that guy know everything is in Janice's name? Janice Combs, Diddy's mama! According to local wires, Superior Court Judge Robert Hess stated that the only way the California man could gain access to such information about Combs' sources of income is if he's able to persuade a jury of his peers to buy his side of the story when the case goes to trial May 27.

Rapper/Actor Will Smith is Obama's choice to play him.

Obama wants Actor/Rapper Willl Smith to play him in some movie. Wow! "Will and I have talked about this because he has the ears!" the Illinois senator said in an interview slated to air Tuesday and Wednesday. But campaigning doesn't leave much time for him to watch movies. It's hard enough eating three, healthy meals a day, he said.

JaRule cannot pay his co-defendants bail!

Says a Judge in that gun possession case - and she wants the duo to come up with their own money. State Supreme Court Justice Micki Scherer said Wednesday the rapper "put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case" by posting thousands of dollars in bail for the co-defendants.

"I think the potential for it is a big problem," Scherer said.

Ja Rule's lawyer said the defence will come up with separate bail packages for co-defendants Dennis Cherry and Mohamed Gamal.

The Spice girls ended their reunion tour last night here in Toronto, Canada. Victoria had one of her sons up there break dancing last night. They said.....

"Our time is up ... we've come to the end of the road ... there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we've come!," the group wrote on their Web site. "Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true."

Rocksarama: Bobby Brown cocaine case rested!

Bobby Brown will not face criminal charges after police said they found a small amount of cocaine in his possession. Brown’s attorney said Tuesday a Brockton District Court clerk magistrate found no probable cause to issue a criminal complaint, but recommended that Brown volunteer to mentor young people, which Brown wanted to do anyway. He will be doing community services.

Michael Jackson may have to sell the Neverland Ranch!

Michael Jackson has received word Monday from Financial Title Company, the trustee, that unless he pays off $24,525,906.61 by that date, a public auction will go forward in Santa Barbara, Calif., in front of the county courthouse.

It’s not just the house either. When Neverland is auctioned, it will include everything: all personal property inside, all fixtures and appliances, furniture, and “all merry go round type devices,” any rides, games. The auction literally includes every single thing that is or isn’t nailed down.

On the outfit especially the hat, Flava said it was revenge for the bear that tried to taunt him in the forest, so we should assume he killed a bear heh? The clock question was finally answered. He wears it so that he can keep the time up. 12 o'clock all the time. The damn clock was actually working so he quickly changed it to his signature 12'oclock on the show. He was very Conan star struck! Good show Mr Flav!

I love Mary J so much and have not laid my eyes on her since those wedding pictures to Kendu were sent to me in ATL back in 2004. Devo's interview rocked with both of them on live.

Notice the professionality with Devo Brown. He sticks to the PROFESSION of music. Some of those NYC hip-hop station personalities (Ms Info, Wendy, Star and Bucwild etc) would have asked them about Kendu......baby some day and Jay-Z....marriage to Beyonce etc. Not our Devo! Brown is probably the most down to earth radio personality that I have encountered. They talked about movies, the tour, basketball and also their respective new albums!

Rapper Will Smith's Role Wins Military "academy" Award

What the hell is that kind of Oscar? Will Smith wasn't nominated for an Oscar this year, but his role in "I Am Legend" has earned a different "academy" award — from the cadets at the U.S. Military Academy. Smith was named the first winner of the Cadet Choice Movie Award, which was designed to honor the fictional character that best personifies West Point leadership qualities on the silver screen.

Smith's character in the film, Army virologist Dr. Robert Neville, is the lone survivor of a zombie-making virus that devastates Manhattan. Nominated for his "value-based leadership," Neville received 27 percent of the cadets' 2,200 online votes. Runners-up included King Leonidas of "300," portrayed by Gerard Butler, and John McClane of "Live Free or Die Hard," portrayed by Bruce Willis.

Diddy does 3 hour movie on ABC....."Raisin in the Sun."

I thought that man can ACT! Sean Diddy Combs did a fabulous job. Now I thought I was dreaming when I walked into the room and heard someone on the show speaking in my African language-Yoruba. The guy was actually a Yoruba guy from Nigeria per his name. He was the African boyfriend in the show. Phylicia Rashad and Sanaa Lathan also are looking at Emmy awards later this year! Great job!
