I love some gospel music. There is no hip-hop connection but early yesterday Mother's day, I learned that Dottie Rambo, dynamic gospel singer DIED when her tour bus CRASHED. Her fans will be so DEVASTATED especially those comments on her MySpace site. The last log-in always hurts me when an artist dies. The site was filled with tour dates till the end of August. Dolly Parton paid tribute to her last night. May she rest in perfect peace!
VIDEO OF THE MOMENT: Point Blank (Feat. Mark Mckay) - God Only Knows [Underground]
Point Blank's debut album, Point Blank is noted in an article by Jesse Plunkett currently featured on Allhiphop.com. With a groundbreaking first single "Born and Raised in the Ghetto" giving way to the group's first Much Music Video Award nomination in 2007; in addition to the amount of attention the group has garnered to date, it's no surprise the group is mentioned in an article titled: "Canadian Invasion: Coming to America". The article highlights the public anticipation for the self-tilted album, since the release of their first single last year: THE ALBUM IS ALMOST HERE IN AUGUST!!!!
